What is NSIC?
National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC) is a Government of India Enterprise established in 1955 under the Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSME). NSIC works to promote, aid, and foster the growth of micro, small, and medium enterprises in India through various support schemes and programs.
NSIC operates through multiple schemes designed to support MSMEs in critical areas including credit support, technology upgradation, marketing assistance, and raw material procurement. The corporation acts as a facilitator between MSMEs and government procurement agencies, financial institutions, and larger markets.
With offices across India and partnerships with rating agencies, banks, and government departments, NSIC provides a comprehensive ecosystem for MSME development. Registration with NSIC opens doors to numerous benefits including subsidized credit ratings, tender participation privileges, and business development support.
